Enneagram Test: LaTao

I want people who haven’t read my story to have an idea of who my characters are. I tried to interview my characters so that you could get to know them, but the interviews didn’t quite go as planned, heh heh. For starters, LaTao and Kain were pretty guarded and defensive for most of their interview. You got a peek, but I still want to give you more, without giving you everything. To tell you about them without spoiling the story, I decided to give them each the Enneagram test! These results are ridiculously accurate. The enneagram algorithm is perfect for delving into one’s personality. I was surprised by how well each of my character’s results fit them like gloves! LaTao was the first to take the test.

Of the main crew, LaTao is the most passionate about her goal. It’s not a spoiler to say that she wants to become one of the nine most powerful Wizards in all of Galtimer and she will stop at nothing to achieve this goal. She wants to create a legacy for herself so badly that she literally thinks this book is about her… which is why she was so quick to be down to be interviewed. She’s bold, aggressive, comfortable with conflict, and willing to go to the extreme. LaTao is innovative and optimistic when confronted with problems. She’s generally a skeptic and (so long as it’s not about her goals) she is very logical.

LaTao’s biggest fear is a tie between 'losing' and 'mediocrity.' To her, there’s little difference between getting an F and getting a B+. She’s basically her own tiger mom. She can’t stand the thought of fitting in a box. The last thing you want to do is tell LaTao what you think her limits are, what she should be, or anything that strips her of her freedom. She wants to win, and she wants to do it HER way.

Remember that box she refuses to fit into? Well, most of her life, it’s been authority figures that have tried the hardest to stuff her into it and get her to conform. Of course, this led her to have a bit of disdain for most people in authoritative positions. Sometimes, she has a hard time dealing with particularly sensitive people. She doesn’t read them as well as the books she drills into her head.

To those that don’t know her personally, she’s seen as arrogant. This is often due to her bluntness or tactless honesty when it comes to how she sees herself. To those she befriends, she is extremely loyal, caring, and... well... only a little arrogant. She surrounds herself with people she can trust. Pragmatic, for sure, the friends she chose fit her goals perfectly, but that’s… mostly coincidental. So long as she advocates for those who can’t fight for themselves and fights to save lives, Sage and Kain will always be right beside her. Her love of adventure is nurtured by Sage’s love of excitement and Kain’s need to explore and expand his horizons.

It’s safe to say this fiery Mage is an 8-wing-7. Extremely accurate assessments. If you know your numbers, tell me them in the comments!
